“Do nothing” every day

“Honey Bees”
“Honey Bees are Mathematicians”

I wrote about Honey Bees like above articles, speaking of honey bees is honey, speaking of hones is Pooh. So, today is about philosophy learned from Winnie the Pooh.

I just went to see the movie “Christopher Robin”.

Grown-up Christopher Robin is busy living in the big city London, and he met with Pooh by chance at such time. It is pleasure to reunite and Pooh wanted to play happily like old days but Christopher Robin has changed because after living at a boarding school and going on sale in World War II. He seems to be very busy at work.

Christopher Robin came back to the forest of 100 acres that he went out as a child when he was going to send out Pooh because Pooh could not return to the forest by himself. Christopher Robin who wanted to get back to work as soon as he finished his role at first but while he was in a nostalgic forest and reunited with his old colleagues, he remembered that time and noticed the most important thing…

Synopsis is like this, I thought that Ewan McGregor, he has the boy’s atmosphere remained awkwardly somewhere, is perfect for grown-up Christopher Robin. Then all the fellows of 100 acres of woods including Pooh are pretty! Their motions and behaviors are so pretty, I wanted to hold them tight!! Especially Piglet! A little piggy wrapped in a muffler is my favorite! Hmm, I also love the negative Eeyore.

Then the image was beautiful, I thought that the balance between the 1940 – 50’s era of the British color (such as clothes, buildings, interior and miscellaneous goods) and the green of the forest was very beautiful.

Well, here is the main topic. There are many things that can make you feel relaxed with a lot of Pooh Philosophy studied in the movie, I introduce some representative things.

– There is no need to hurry. Someday it will arrive properly. The river knows it.
– The day I spend with you is my favorite day any day. So today is my new favorite.
– I have to go to places I have never been. Not going back to the place where you are.

There are many others, but what sounded more than anything is “Do nothing”.

Pooh who is trying hard in every second moment says, “Do nothing often leads to the very best thing”. Yes “right here, right now”. He is like a Zen monk. It’s exactly like a game that makes words that you saw with the scenery from the train. Right here right know, we live this moment.

It is a wonderful movie with a lot of learning, the original is A.A.Milne child novel “Winnie-the-Pooh” published in 1926. Like Pooh, “Peanuts”, “Moomin Series”, “Tensai Bakabon”, “Doraemon”, “Chibi Maruko-chan” etc. for children’s novels and mangas have many profound philosophy I thought again.

For me, “do nothing” is a big awareness, I even feel like it is everything in life. Although there are various things, I thought that I would live everyday while conscious of “right here right now” as much as possible.
How do you see it?
