I introduced Umi Yama Aida ~In Between Mountains and Oceans~ last blog. I also touched about in the forest of Ise, there is an area of super high frequency as much as African rainforest, and it is closer to experiencing “feeling” rather than “listening”, Mr. Ohashi of the brain scientist taught.

I do not hear it, but there are sounds, today is about what I remembered when thinking about such a thing.

Last time I introduced Russian Cosmism. The philosophy that “true equality socialism was proposed for the ideal society of the future is the mission to let all people who died once again live.”

It was certainly about 1 year ago when I learned this idea, and I was surprised too much that it seems to have firmly settled into unconsciousness. Because, suddenly I remembered this thought when I went to a concert, so today is about that experience.

Making a good country

Yoritomo Minamoto
2018-10-04 by youseeaandiseeb No Comments

(Today’s blog is all about Japan’s history)
Suddenly, was the establishment date of the Kamakura Shogunate was 1192? (This questions is very common for people who have educated at Japanese school)

Right! Those who think that you know the age. I heard that the theory that it was established in 1185 recently. The school textbook also said that it is 1185 years.

However, 1185 years seems to be doubtful, and there are other theories in 1180, 1183, 1184 and 1190 in addition. What do you call “Kamakura shogunate”? According to its interpretation the age is different.

Form-giver Ingegerd Råman

Ingegerd Råman
2018-09-28 by youseeaandiseeb No Comments

Today is about Sweden’s leading designer “Ingegerd Råman”, her exhibition is held at The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo Crafts Gallery until 2018.9.14 – 12.9.

Generally she is known as “designer” or “ceramist”, but she calls herself not “ceramist” but “potter“, not “designer” but “form-giver“.

This is because she does not regard her creations as self-expression but is more aware of her craftsmanship, which is obliged to create vessels for everyday use. The term “designer” in Swedish is “formgivare (form-giver)“, but the term has more specificity in its meaning-to give a form to something, the presence of an object.
