DIY

The word “DIY” has also become established and more people are enjoying making things. I am happy because workshops and studios are also increasing. I also participate occasionally and enjoy making things, and I introduce to you I participated the other day.

I participated in “Workshop for making key cases with Tochigi Leather”.
“Leather to use is manufactured by Tochigi Prefecture called Tochigi Leather, is a high-grade leather that is evaluated all over the world. As the taste changes deeply with each year, you can patronize long.” I decided to make this immediately because I love the leather and wanted to change my key case this time.

The studio I participated in is “Maker’s Base”, the closest station is Toritsudaigaku station in West Tokyo. Their concept is “Let’s enjoy making things as much as you want”, the classes are wide from woodworking, metalworking, ceramics, sewing, textiles, digital processing and so on. The studio is big, I feel so excited when I enter there. It is like for adult secret base.

It was third time for me. I love here because the field is also wide, it will be completed in about 2 hours and its sense is also very good, easy to participate I feel.

Besides workshops you make yourself, they make original goods for you, you can borrow studio as a registered members, classes learning how to use manufactures, services that you can buy products made by artists. You can enjoy in many ways.
