The vol. 2 of From Designers With Loveis about “In-Flight Safety Video”.
I think choosing airline is important when I travel, I always check the aircrafts, in-flight goods, CA uniform etc. Among them, I look forward to watching “in-flight safety video”.
A few years ago the video of New Zealand Airlines was tied up with the movie ‘Hobbit’, I remember being surprised by the high quality.
Why they made such a video was almost everyone doesn’t watch it even thought it is decided that airline companies must show the video by law in each country and, and the contents to be shown are decided and it is very important information, but almost everyone doesn’t watch it. Well then, they decided to create something unique video people want to watch.
I thought that it was also a part of the strategy as a promotion, but I think the designers surely imagining what the viewers’ smiles. If designers enjoy making something from the bottom of their hearts, I am confident that their feelings will surely be conveyed to those who have seen it.
I used Hawaiian Airlines when I traveled to Hawaii Island, the in-flight safety video was also wonderful.
In recent years many airline companies make wonderful videos, I am looking forward to it because it is renewing on a regular basis.
