Air of the day
I am a freelance graphic and digital designer, occasionally I am asked about the working hours of my work. “Is it a designer so you are a night type, aren’t you?” or “Do you work any day on weekdays as well as all day?” etc. I think that there are freelance designers of various styles, but I am extremely “ordinary”. 5 weekdays, 9: 00-18: 00. (Although there are some changes depending on the projects, it is usually this time zone) So, there is nothing different from the world.
In other words, I am living a more regular life than when I was an office worker. As I have noticed in such a life, today is about that.
I think there is feeling of the air and atmosphere of the place when you go to a place that is not a usual space such as inside the town, when you enter a shop, when you go to a meeting with another company, when you go to a friend’s house, etc. I feel that it may be different depending on the day of the week. Somewhat I feel up in the morning feeling in the veranda or what I feel like going out, can you understand this feeling?
It is a very personal, subjective and abstract expression, but I feel like this because it is a “my point of view” blog.
(Ah, let’s express it along with the traditional Japanese colors!)
Sunday: Refreshing / Peace / Calm
Aomidori
Monday: Quietness / Beginning / Clean
Shiraai
Tuesday: Moving / Running / Let’s do
Kincha
Wednesday: Best condition / Fun! / Be clear
Moegi
Thursday: A little break / Breath / Calm
Sangoshu-iro
Friday: Energetic / Miscellaneous / Sparkling
Tanpopo-iro
Saturday: Lively / Chaotic / Noisily
Kinaka
By the way, in Thailand, the color of each day (lucky color and unlucky color) and Buddha are decided. And the color of the day you were born is lucky color.
Previously it was an irregular life so I did not notice it at all, but if I live with a certain rhythm, I become sensitive to the flow of the world or the air, I think.
In this time I tried to express the difference in feeling by day of the week with words and colors. By the way, since I was playing with the question “What kind of color do you feel today?” question, how about trying to express “today” with colors or words? I think it will be fun even compared with the surrounding people!
